Yes. My thoughts align with that. We just got our Cap straight with this post June release. This was part strategy. We’d be fine anywhere under the $7.5Mil per year area to add a RELIABLE player. Not to say I’m eager to spend it either. I’d poke around for someone in the $3-6Mil area that can if nothing else fill out depth if we lose a player (or two). I would not exceed $7Mil area period. Meaning at most that’s out guaranteed amount. Again it’s hard to say we’re better, yet if we go look JA played 6 games last season. I don’t count the Bears he took 10 snaps with 0-0-0 stats that’s not contributing. We lost a very good 6 game starter. That it. He was ineffective for our 12 contests last year. Not good. Matter of fact one could argue his unavailability for 2/3 of of the 2024 season caused us wasted efficiency or tying up other resources. He effectively played 1/3 of our season give or take. I think he’s a cool dude but that doesn’t = high contributions either. We need someone who has a substantially better track record of available, JA is too risky in a year you need high floor high reliability. Plus we just freed up one ice tub! Ouch! I love Jaire but this wasn’t good for our team and I can appreciate he’s got to look out for himself. We’ve got entire Roster of mouths to feed and their families I think that’s more important than any 1 player.
