He stood in the middle of the ring, with this little American flag in his hand while they raised the other one in victory.Being part of our military in Vietnam, when I saw it, I cried. In an era where so many Americans were vilifying us as soldiers, this one man stood up and showed his pride. I became a George Foreman fan that day and stayed that way for the rest of his life. I was supportive of his comeback in the ring because I felt that the man with the flag had a mission to fulfill. It was an amazing journey back for him, and we can all only hope to be impactful on others in life as George was.It was his faith that brought him back and made him a success. I hope his children are there to honor and continue the work of their father. They have big shoes to fill.</blockquote>
