I was just wondering, but how many people here have a piece of Lambeau Field back from the 1997 Playoffs? Back when they re-sodded the field from the hectic "Mud Bowl."

My dad had 5 of them. 3 were given out to uncles (who knows if they still have it) one was planted in our back yard (what was my dad thinking) and lucky for me, one piece was given to me. Had it for great 10 years now and by far the best piece of Packers memorabilia I have.

Are you managing to keep it alive?
I mean, do you care for it like a house plant?
And how did your dad end up getting them in the first place?

Actually, it is dead. It is just dried up dirt with some pieces of dead grass in it. And how he got them, they sold them and they were all gone in a couple of hours, but I believe that he got them from a buddy.
