Fritz was an amazing coach, and our D under his leadership was unreal. Some will chalk it up to Reggie White's presence, but Fritz knew how to get the best out of his personnel. Santana Dotson, Sean Jones produced tremendous results under him. Tyrone Williams blossomed into a shot down corner because of his early influence. He's definitely deserving of this award- glad to see him get the recognition his work deserves!
Fritz was great, but in 1996 I believe the Packers' defensive starters were 100% available all season except for 1 game each by Santana Dotson and Sean Jones. It helps a coach to have your best players playing. We're overdue for such a season.
