Come get your Street Tacos!

Cowboys release 2017 first round pick Taco Charlton!

@newyscruggs

The #Cowboys have cut 2017 1st round pick from #Michigan Taco Charlton. I asked a person in the organization why didn't it work out. The response I got was "soft". Charlton's time in Dallas ends with him being called a soft taco. No lie.

Return specialist?

Bye Trev.

Yup. That just happened. Trevor Davis has been traded to the Raiders, but we don’t know what we received out of the deal yet. I hope you at least got a fifth rounder, but I bet you it’s only a sixth or a seventh.

If we got a 5th rounder Gute needs to keep Mayocks number on speed dial.

Hoodie got out in the nick of time. Brown's $9 mil signing bonus was split into two payments, $5 mil due on Sept. 23, the balance in January. He should send that second accuser a thank you note.

So who here said that AB would just naturally fall in and tow the line in NE?

Just curious

This is the problem I have with all of this, aside from what he is accused of, don't want to make light of that. But his agent, who we all know is a shady guy.

"It's unfortunate things didn't work out with the Patriots," the receiver's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said. "But Antonio is healthy and is looking forward to his next opportunity in the NFL. He wants to play the game he loves and he hopes to play for another team soon."

AB and his agent need to focus on, what is clearly, a shambled personal life right now. Not football. Football is not going to be a thing for this guy for at least the rest of this year, if not longer. You are already under investigation of ****** assault, now another person comes out and you send threatening text messages?!?! This is more than football and football should not be important to AB right now. And the fact Rosenhaus thinks they are just going to charge forward to the next team is sort of disgusting.

He did fall in and toe the line. No more helmet grievances and like. Too bad his earlier mistakes caught up with him. Both offences are about 2 years plus old.

I tend to think of this as Pats getting their comeuppance. They Jinked and danced around the edges and it blew up on their face.

How exactly is sending threatening texts to an accuser "falling in line"?

That wasnt 2 years ago. That was within the last week

Because that happened way before this saga and not during his stint there.

He was quiet as mouse after he signed. Answered just 4 questions to media and none on controversies. No tweets, no media. Nothing since signing. I call that toeing the line.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27657207/artist-says-pats-brown-sent-intimidating-texts

It was Wednesday after the 2nd accuser came forward...... In other words AFTER he was a Patriot.

He damn near litteraly jumped on the line and releaved himself on it.

Not sure why you think that it happened before hand but it quite litteraly says in the article he was a Patriot at the time he sent the texts.

It wasn't "way before". The ink hadnt even dried on his contract yet and he still couldn't toe the line even that long

So once again.... How exactly is that toeing the line?

The incident happened in 2018 Just that the accuser came forward now. Or that's what I get from the reports. It not something he did after he signed with Pats.

Dude I linked you the article where it explicitly says he sent threatening texts to one of his accusers AFTER he signed with the Patriots (ya know the reason why they cut him).....This isnt from 2018. Not sure why you keep saying that or why'd you think it in the first place

Unless you just didnt bother reading the article

How is sending threatening texts WHILE HE WAS A PATROIT toeing the line?

Because the Pats have been successful at times with troubled players, there's a narrative that it always works when they try something like this. Historically, that's not true at all.
