Az-Zahir Hakim, Kevin Johnson, Ricky Proehl and Johnnie Morton.

All of which have to be better than what we got. Or am I wrong?

McCarthey and Jags want 6'2"+ wideouts. We would have kept Chatman otherwise.

For those who are curious.
Morton - Height: 6-0 Weight: 193
Hakim - Height: 5-10 Weight: 185
Johnson - Height: 5-11 Weight: 195
Proehl - Height: 6-0 Weight: 190

Chatman was 5'9" but those who seen him in person say he was smaller than that.

Its often said proto type WR is 6' 200. They each kind of miss the mark there too.

Morton and Proehl are old and have lost about 3 steps. Hakim is supposedly a cancer in the locker room. Johnson idk about, but i'm on the fence about whether or not he'd be better than Jennings and Gardner.

As a stop-gap measure, I like Proehl. He always steps up in prime time. He must have good character because he put up with the Cardinals for some time. He would still take up a DB's time and knows how to catch a football(and hang on to it). We have some problems in that area now, reportedly.

Z, can't seem to find info on Kevin Johnson.

Hakim is washed up, a player who thinks too highly of himself for his own good.

Morton might work out, he is a veteran, but could be a decent stop-gap solution. Ditto Phorel, who I like more since he has made up for his decline by outsmarting DBs.

I'd rather GB not waste time with any of these guys. We've got a number of young players who have much better upside that need experience.

As for their experience, only Proehl offers anything of interest. Otherwise we've got the experience of Gardner and Fergie.

I'm not as worried about WR as I am about OL. No matter how you slice it though, it's too late (or too early) for available FAs to be of much value. We'd be better off waiting for other teams to cut good talent.

GO PACK GO!!!

Neither of those guys really have any upside or could do anything better than the guys we got. Pretty much they're is no impact player at WR or OL that we can sign right now. I think we're done with looking at receivers. Time for someone too step up and right now I'm hearing the name Greg Jennings on TV, newspaper, etc...
