Green Bay - The Green Bay Packers player who kicked the winning field goal in the team's first appearance on "Monday Night Football" has died at age 63.

Dale Livingston was the Packers' kicker in 1970 and led Green Bay in scoring that season with 64 points. He hit 15 of 28 field goals and 19 of 21 extra points.

Livingston's 14-yard field goal with 3:39 left in the fourth quarter lifted Green Bay to a 22-20 victory over the Chargers in San Diego on Oct. 12, 1970, the Packers' first "Monday Night" game.

Livingston was a teacher and coach in Freedom schools after his NFL career ended. He lived in Ashwaubenon, had heart surgery in October and had been seriously ill. He died Monday at a Green Bay hospital.
