It will be difficult to get a read. The Falcons had an awesome first game as I recall, they did lose by a wider margin against the same Bucs team we just played. Atlanta's defense Vs Green bay's Offense total Defense: Atlanta 15 vs Green Bay 15th - push Defensive passing: Atlanta 13th vs Green Bay's 10th - slight edge Green Bay if Rodgers played, without.... throw out this stat Defenseive Rushing: Atlanta 23rd vs Green Bay's 23rd - push Defensive receiving: Atlanta 13th vs Green Bay's 9th - Edge Green Bay Offensively Green Bay should have some good matchups, particularly with the receiving corp, but if Rodgers doesn't start, Flynn could be in trouble if he doesn't click early with the receivers. However, Atlanta isn't the best at stopping the run, so maybe Grant and Jackson can take some pressure off Flynn early. Atlanta's Offense vs Green Bay's Defense Total Offense: Atlanta 10th vs Green Bay's 25th - Edge Atlanta Passing Offense: Atlanta 26th vs Green Bay's 15th - Edge Green Bay Rushing Offense: Atlanta 23rd vs Green Bay 23rd push Pass receiving: Atlanta 13th vs Green Bay 9th edge Green Bay Defensively, Green bay could be vulnerable on defense, Atlanta blew up in the running game in the first week, but hasn't duplicated it, and the packers did let a lot of yardage to Dallas in week 3. If they can stay stout, they may have a chance in defending the falcons receivers, maybe force some turnovers. Ultimately though, this game will probably come down to who protects the ball better. Which team runs the ball effectively, avoids turn overs, and which one does not. I'd still give a slight edge to green bay even though with a fresh QB in that might not be in our favor.
