So I see the Detroit has let go of Fernando Bryant. 30 years old, 9 years in the league. What do you think? Certainly would be an upgrade over Frank Walker I would think.

I'm not too sure what type of corner (zone or man-to-man) he is though.

He may work in it. His speed is going to be suspect though. I really think he's been beaten quite a bit in the past but you have to factor in he was out on a island playing for the Lions. He arguably was their 3rd or 4th best defensive player. I wouldn't mine seeing him in camp.

Heh. No. The Detroits Pass Defense was among the worst in the NFL.

Being a Pack fan stuck in Detroit, I have to give a resounding NO!!!! That was by far the most rag tag secondary put on the field. Also all the Detroit fans are glad to see him go, so that has to tell you something.

I really hope you meant this as sarcasm, because how can you rate players in a game when they haven't played one meaningful down in the Pros yet? Combines are good, but game film is much more important in the evaluation process.

That's precisely why I asked if you meant it as sarcasm, because it could have been taken very literally instead of sarcastically.
