Packers President Mark Murphy said the team is looking at one of the first four home games to retire Brett Favre's jersey.

Murphy said the team wanted to do it early in the season in order to get the best possible weather.

That means it will be one of four games:

-- Sept. 8 vs. Minnesota (6 p.m., ESPN)
-- Sept. 21 vs. Dallas (7:15 p.m., NBC)
-- Oct. 5 vs. Atlanta (Noon, Fox)
-- Oct. 19 vs. Indianapolis (3:15 p.m., CBS)

The Packers will present those four options to Favre and ask for his input before a decision is made.

Week 1. If these are the options I would hate to see #4 retired outside of the division.

Plus get it over with so it is not something to be on the players minds.

Edit: I would be funny against Atlanta though.

I don't think it will happen with this being a Gold Package game.

Why? you think Brett WILL only do it for the GREEN BAY fans?

I bet Brett will have the final say and it doesn't matter to him if its a gold package or not..

He wouldn't want to disrespect the "milwaukee" fans

I hope it is this game, and Aaron Rodgers goes out and lights up the Cows with 5 TD passes. That would make my year (well, with a sweep of da Bears as well).
