I feel they kinda got lucky and still have holes to fill on their team.  The Jets were a 5th seed in the playoffs and nearly missed altogether, only havin a 9-7 record.  The AFC is too tough a conference, and with teams like the Colts, Patriots, Chargers, Steelers, and Ravens, all of whom are better teams than the Jets (IMO), Its going to take some time (maybe a few years) for them to get to the SB and Favre only had 1 or 2 years left... he needed a team ready to go NOW!!!</p></blockquote><p></p>
