What is it that causes Favre to play so inconsistent. He has looked good in the playoffs and has looked downright awful. Why has he not been able to get it done in recent years. This isnt a Favre bashing/retire now thread just why has someone with as much experience as himself in the playoffs played so inconsistent and not been able to get it done in recent years. Off course its not all his fault in any of these games but some are pretty bad.

I wish I knew! It just seems that when he gets panicky he loses it! That last interception was a tough one. I understand why he threw it to Driver, but he should have thrown it more outside.

you should also remember that favre is part of a TEAM that has been in flux for the past few years. the team as a whole has been inconsistant and that includes the coaches too.
