States...not been to many, but I truly do enjoy Wisconsin deeply...Wisconsin would be number one...but not counting WI....

    1.) Tennessee
    2.) Colorado
    3.) South Dakota
    4.) North Carolina
    5.) Wyoming

    Boring(est?)

    1.) NEBRASKA
    2.) Indiana
    3.) Illinois
    4.) Kansas
5.) Minnesota (all they got is Mall of America, but I'm not a 12 year old girl so no thank you...)

Have been to almost all 50 states, and the most boring--I think--is N. Dakota. Have found something in every other state.

When I was in Oklahoma, man, thats a boring *** state. I heard about how slow people are south of WI, but OK was riDAMNdiculus! Jim, my gf and I went to McDonalds. There was a long line going out of the door. Me, not knowing any better, cut right in front of them an walked in. There was four cashiers. The big line branched off to each cashier. I picked one and stood there. Everyone looking at me like a moron made me feel, weird. So I looked for Jim, he was outside behind the end of the line. I was thinkin wtf is going on. Then the manager yelled at me! 'HEY NO CUTTING IN LINE GO OUTSIDE' ... I freaked, I said 'HEY, IM HUNGRY, HOW ABOUT YOU SPEND LESS TIME WORRYING ABOUT WHOS CUTTING AND MAKE FOOD' (there are times, believe it or not that I speak before thinking).

That just amazed me. No one there was moving fast, everyone was complacent about the huge line. In WI, HUGE difference. The workers would be frantically running around, the people would be grumbling about how slow it was and contimplate going elsewhere. Not in OK though. They jus moved sooooooooooooo slow. We ended up leaving and went to Sonic :)

The next day, Jim (who traveled from state to state for a living) and I went to Walmart. We walked in and I kept yelling at people, 'HEY WI HERE MOVE MOVE MOVE YEA YOU HEARD ME WI RIGHT HERE!' It was hiliarious. With my cockiness exhibited there Jim decided to play a lil trick on me. He told me "Kev, get us some Brats". I figured well we do have a grill at the hotel. I hunted down a worker, asked for brats.

Worker: im not sure if i understand what u want
Me: brats, johnsonville brats. they are like big hot dogs
Worker: yea we have big hot dogs here ill bring u to them
Me: are they brats or just big hot dogs?
Worker: big hot dogs, thats what u asked for
Me: no, i want BRATS, not big hot dogs, big hot dog is how i explain what a brat is to u.
Worker: im sorry sir i never heard of a brat
Me: are u serious, how can u NOT know what a brat is?
Worker: sorry sir, i think u want big hot dogs an i can show u where those are if u follow me
Me: does it say johnsonville on the package?
    Worker: i dont think so
Me: THEN ITS NOT A BRAT, I WANT BRATS

well i started to really lose my cool at that point

Then Jim came back looking for me. When he seen how angry an frustrated I was getting he quickly cut between me an the worker. He told the worker "sorry man, he hasnt been out of wisconsin his entire life, he doesnt know that brats are a wisconsin thing"

Well, how the hell was I supposed to know that in Oklahoma they didn't have brats?!?!?!?!?!?! What a stupid *** state.

There are more stories about me an that state, I think though, that's enough embarrassment for me for the day :)

    Thanks for mentioning Montana, Heathie.

    1. Montana...where else can you have a traffic gridlock in downtown Missoula caused by a herd of Elk? Happened last fall.
    2. Wisconsin...anything north of Highway 10.
    3. Anything West of Minnesota and the Mississippi River. 98% of the people back east are rude, ill mannered and in way too much of a hurry to get to Hell. The other 2% are on this forum. (see, I covered my butt.)

I think I've been to 40 of the 50 states and my favourites are

    1. North Carolina (love the food and the Southern women)
    2. Wisconsin (the Packers, brats and Allen Edmonds shoes)
    3. Virginia/DC (so much history)
    4. Alabama (love the food and the Southern women)
    5. Oregon (Portland is absolutely beautiful, though I've only been in the summer).

    Least favourite

    1. New York (western NY is ugly and I really can't stand the pretentious snobs in NYC)
    2. Nevada (Vegas is the tackiest place on earth, followed closely by Niagara Falls)
    3. Washington (rains 375 days a year in Seattle)
    4. California (except for Napa and Sonoma)
    5. Indiana (was really bored there).

Gotta love those Allen Edmunds wingtips, TOP!!

Favorites (other than the beloved homeland):

    1. Colorado - Perfect weather and abundant recreational opportunities.
    2. Montana - See Above
    3. Mississippi (Delta or coastal regions) Blues, booze, and kick *** food!
    4. N. Carolina - A great getaway in the dead of winter.
    5. Louisiana - Zydeco, booze and kick *** food!

    Least:

    1. Illinois - FIBS....need I say more!
    2. Minnesota - Mud Ducks, they suffer from "puckered *** syndrome"...let some steam off or your head is gonna pop! (noted exceptions on forum)
    3. Washington D.C. - Politicians...all crooks and liars...fucktards screw us right and left, literally and figuratively!
    4. Florida - Smells like old people.
    5. California - Every bad idea seems to come from Cali or DC.

    In no particular order:

Wisconsin; Virginia; California(except the LA area); and, Colorado.

Would like to get to NH, VT or Connecticut as they are the only(along with Maine) states I have yet to visit in continental US.

I have been in about 23 states in my life. I found all of them fun to visit, but didn't want to live in any of them. I like Wisconsin!

I have pretty much traveled the entire nation looking through a windshield...and had opportunity to get up close with the locals. Wisconsinites, more than most, have a real sense of pride about their state and the fact that it is home to them.

    Least favorite-
    1. California- La is a dump, I hate that city and I hated San fran too.
    2. Wisconsin- When I lived in the U.P. there was so much sickening fawning over that state but all it consists of is farms and here in Lower michigan you never hear anyone talk about it.
    3. Upper peninsula of Michigan- They bash the LP all the time but their are no jobs up there and boring towns. They should be a part of Wisconsin.
    4. Nevada- Vegas isnt as great as it is made out to be.
    5. North Dakota- The whole state is a field.

Personally I hate Wisconsin. The weather is very bad. Seems like every winter we get freezing rain instead of snow. Occasional good snow but most of the good snow is in the UP.

Actually Menominee and Esky dont get much snow probably as much as wisconsin does. You want good snow go up to the soo, Marquette or Houghton or way up in the copper country. I used to live there and know all about life in the U.P. You also should go to Traverse City for alot of snow.
