In a way I agree with him. With how the league favors the passing offenses, the rules in place, the talent of the QB's and the weapons they have, 5,000 should be pretty easy these days. In fact I'm surprised this wasn't happening sooner.

It was a milestone back when Marino broke it. It has literally no meaning now. It's only a matter of time before it's broken again and almost every QB in a good offense will crack 5,000 at some point in their career
