I know it is crazy but how bout hire Brett as Player/Headcoach hasnt been done in ages would rock the nfl world

Probably because he isn't qualified.
Do you remember when they hired Bart Starr to be HC? The fans loved him and gave him time to learn on the job like he asked them to do. He didn't have any coaching experience either and it led to years of mediocrity

He'd never want to do this anyway, not that the Packers would consider hiring him for that dual role. He has already said he would never even want to call the plays, he just likes to execute them.

I don't think it's really possible in modern football. The game has evolved into something far more complex than the days goneby where someone could actually do both roles and still remain sane.

I don't see it. Favre is great because he's a great competitor with great talent. You can't teach somebody talent or to be a competitor.

Plus, the great players rarely ever make good coaches.
