Ex-Packer HC Mike Sherman

I find it interesting that with 10 HC'ing jobs open during the off-season, Sherman couldn't land one.

In Sherman's 6 seasons as HC of the Packers he never got even one vote for "Coach of the Year" even though the Packers went 12-4 for 2 seasons.

It really tells a lot about Sherman's reputation around the NFL.

Mike Sherman was signed to a 2 year 6 million dollar extension before he was fired.

Therefore even though he is only the O-line coach at Houston he is still making HC money because The Packers have to pay the difference between what he is making in Houston and his contract in GB.

Why should he jump right back inot a HC's job when he can make the same amount of money and have a lot less stress and reponsibility?

Why some of you have to keep bringing Mike Sherman up on this forum befuddles me. Sherman is gone!!!!!! IMHO these threads should be in the NFL news folder, instead of taking up space in The Packer Forum.
