If the NFL players initiate anti-trust action against the NFL, it will really get interesting. The NFL was denied exemption from the Sherman Act in 1957. Such action, if filed before the expiration of the CBA, would be heard by Judge Doty, who has been a thorn in the side of the NFL for years.

Now is the time to direct your attention to college football.

I guess we could hope that the court has a decent enough memory to recall that the NFLPA pulled this once before; which I believe is a violation of National Labor Relations law. You know, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

Why give them the amenities? That would just make it take longer. Deprive them of even the necessities; let's bring this thing to and end and make sure we have football this season.
