Draw play

FYI. The whole purpose of a draw play is to make the defense think you are doing something else, like passing, and give them time to get out of position then run through the whole up the middle. If you get past the rushing DL you can ususally get five yards because next line of defense is LB.

So what you are implying is that maybe the play could've worked if the ball hadn't been snapped too early. It threw off the timing. Good point.

I still don't like the play-call, however. With the game on the line, would you rather have the ball in Brett's hands or Tony Fisher's?

You call a play based on what you think the defense is going to do and what they will give you. Obviously it didn't work for whatever reason. Why is everyone focusing on this one play?
