IMO Davis is the one pick in this draft that could change Favre's decision about retiring or playing this season. He immediately creates mismatches across the field.

I can imagine so many plays with 2 or 3 TE sets sending Franks and Davis down the field with Driver, Gardner or Green coming across the shallow middle. We these TE sets, the opposing defenses' LBs and safeties would be forced to focus on them. That creates single coverage for our WRs, slows down the pass rush, and opens up things for the running game. How could Brett not love such an offense? This is not even considering the possibility of Walker staying in GB!

If that scenario played out I would take Davis in a heartbeat, as I have stated in other forums I think he can be a game changer at the TE position, and you need a game changer at # 5 - not just a solid long term NFL player.

QB would be a mistake that high, LB can be addressed in later rounds as can interior OL.
