The more I think about it, I really start to think the Packers should draft Brooks. I would be totally fine with trading back to acquire another second round pick to select a WR (if Mosley is there at #21 Thompson should draft him though).

Yeah but TT could also trade up feasibly.

1. C.J Mosley ILB

2. Jordan Mathews or Donte Moncrief WR - trade the 3rd, 4th, 5th

2. Terrence Brooks FS

3. Justin Ellis DT

5. Tyler Larson C

6. Antone Exum CB or Dontae Johnson

7. Richard Rodgers TE

It's a little risky but all three top picks would be play immediately. TT is good at finding receiving talent so I see this as a trade he would not do but I like it.

If they don't get Mosley they could trade out of first like you mentioned hopefully something like this

2. Jordan Matthews WR

2. Terrence Brooks FS

3. Yarwin Smallwood ILB

3. Justin Ellis DT

3, Trent Murphy OLB

4. De'Andre Coleman DE

5, Arthur Lynch TE

5. Tyler Larson C

6. Antone Exum C/S

7. Jeremy Gallon WR/Specialists

I would love to get the top three guys on the list, but I don´t think we would be able to hold on to our second round pick if we want to trade up in the 2nd round.

I think it would depend where in the second the trade was made. The farther Matthews or Moncrief slips the easier it would be to not give up our 2nd as we would be giving up multiple picks 3,4,5. Someone would bite and I believe Brooks could be there later in second so it could work out that way as well. It would probably be much easier to package Moncrief in then Matthews but I like Matthews more,

I think Matthews and Moncrief are pretty close to each other. According to the draft trade chart the picks you have suggested wouldn´t be enough to move into the second round. I don´t believe the chart is always accurate, it´s a pretty reliable indicator though.

This draft is thick in rounds 3-5 so I think there would be a taker. A team like the Seahawks for example that only have 5 picks might be a player at end of round 2 at 64. A lot of people have Moncrief hanging around until early 3rd. With all the depth at WR and the QB rush in this draft some of these top-tier receivers should drop a little.

It´s possible some teams would agree to the trade you suggested. But I don´t think either Matthews or Moncrief would be there at #64.

1. Sammy Watkins
2. Mike Evans
3. Marqise Lee
4. Odell Beckham
5. Brandon Cooks
6. Jordan Matthews
7. Kelvin Benjamin
8. Jarvis Landry
9. Devante Adams
10. Allen Robinson
11. Donte Moncrief
12. Cody Latimer
13. Paul Richardson
14. Martivus Bryant
15. Jarred Abberderis

Then you got guys like Bruce Ellington, Cody Latimer, and Brandon Coleman who are climbing. Moncrief had a not so good 2013. I think he is the one that drops back end 2nd or early 3rd. Obviously the top 5 are gone but if we can get Mosley and Brooks I believe one these guys can be gotten also.

Latimer´s already higher on the list than you rated him here. I think that it´s possible to draft an impact receiver in the third round though with either of our picks in the round.

Draft twitter has had Latimer in the 2nd for months, big draft just figured out that they missed him this month. If the draft had been held 2 weeks ago, people would have been shocked when he got taken exactly as high as people now expect him to go.

I feel our pick will be either Mosley or a CB. I don't think we'll be trading down simply because everybody is going to want to trade down this year and there aren't going to be nearly enough trade partners to go around.

Voting CB.

I think this year the chart is going to look silly. Its a very deep draft. If your talent tier is at 25-60 as Gill Brandt stated, and you can get a player of the same caliber at 25 as at pick 60, if the Packers trade up from 53 to 35 it may be surprisingly cheap.

I think it is more likely, however, that TT trades down. He seems to be more patient than most GMs and will let the draft come to him.
