Do we have to win a Lombardi for this season to be a success?

I might be alone here but I don't do well with losing a SB. I think you have to win it if you get there. Of course if you are a clearly inferior team and you lose thats one thing. But, if you are favored or at least even with the opponent you gotta win.

I also think a SB loss can be a big blemish on a QB's resume. One of the things that people often harp on with Montana is him being 4-0 in SBs with no interceptions.

Losing the SB sucks. Nothing worse then seeing the winner get all the glory you came oh so close to.

I feel a successful season means equating or surpassing your accomplishments of last season. Super Bowl or bust!
