Dimitri Nance, is it wrong to get a little excited about him?

    from Atlanta's practice squad

    • Current back's in Atlanta...Turner (starter) Snelling (starter material) Norwood (receiving threat, lateral quickness).....

    • IMO...tough backfield to get any playing time in, similar situation to Ryan Grant in 2007, Giants had Jacobs, Bradshaw, Ward, Droughns...If the guy can prove he can be consistent with ball security, I'd like to see what he can do with at least 7 carries against the bears...

    • I'm not comparing the 2 backs, just their past situations, coincidence???

    • In college Dimitri fumbled once
    • history of almost never getting tackled for a loss in college
    • became a receiving threat in his senior year

It was exciting until they said no.

Once he learns some of the playbook, we might get to see him take the wheel a bit.
