what type of defence should the packers run? i think they should run an aggressive blitzing defence. or a tampa 2. we definatly need to give the corners help

do you mean for this upcoming game or just in general for all games.

id say were running the right defense right now to be quite honest. We play bump and run week in and week out becuase we have SHUT DOWN CORNERS!!!!

and then up front we run the 4-3 with kampman and now KGB( as you may have noticed hes getting alot more reps with Jenkins mystery injury)

and our linebackers come with blitz packages.

id like to see some safety blitzes to mix things up

Blitzing is high risk, high reward. We may get some turnovers, but most big plays in the NFL come against a big blitz.

We don't have the personnel to play Tampa 2 (Harris and Woodson don't play well off the line). Our personnel is tailor made for the Bates scheme we're running, so I'd stick with what we're doing (remember that the Bears and Chargers games were the only ones where we gave up more than 20 points.

excellent point about the points, that should be the mark of a defense instead of yards

Don't have the personel for the Tampa 2, but if we did and switched to that D we would see ALOT of big plays out of Hawk. His skills are more suited for that D.

Yeah haha I remember reading Harris kind of critisizing the Tampa 2 corners that sit in a zone and collect ints on their way to the pro bowl yet Harris and Wood do the real work.
