what type of defence should the packers run? i think they should run an aggressive blitzing defence. or a tampa 2. we definatly need to give the corners help
Blitzing is high risk, high reward. We may get some turnovers, but most big plays in the NFL come against a big blitz.
We don't have the personnel to play Tampa 2 (Harris and Woodson don't play well off the line). Our personnel is tailor made for the Bates scheme we're running, so I'd stick with what we're doing (remember that the Bears and Chargers games were the only ones where we gave up more than 20 points.

excellent point about the points, that should be the mark of a defense instead of yards

ya and woodson and harris are good at pressing whitch is what i was thinking about mainly during that thought process
