But what I find kinda sad is these cowgirl fans coming on a Packers' forum talking smack. There is no way in h3ll I'd waste my time trolling on another teams' forum posting crap just to get a rise out of the locals. Where is that ignore button... :p

Fans of teams about to face eachother squaring off in forums talking about the game...what a novel concept.

Hated dallas cowboys-35
My favorit team with an absolute hatred for the front office/coaching-17

I hate to say it fellow gb fans, but this is where the wheels come off the wagon for us and we see why a team should never let a hall of famer who can still play leave while we had a legit shot at going all the way.

Yes, you made the playoffs...and LOST again. And how many years has it been since the "great cowpokes" won a playoff game? Romo couldn't win a playoff game in three years of college ball or two years with the 'pokes.

And if it weren't for a turnover the girls would've lost to Philly.
Dont get it twisted Pugger !!!

The Eagles weren't going anywhere when McNabb Fumbles... They had just got a good Kick-Return and a penalty, giving them the ball at the Dallas 45, where McNabb Fumbled... Other that, they only made it past the 50, once in the 2nd Half... And a FG on the fumble drive wouldn't have helped them, as the Cowboys scored a TD on the ensuing drive to go up by 4...

The Eagles got the ball back twice after that fumble, with more than enough time left to score and win the game, but on those 2 drives, they could only muster 29 yards on 11 plays.... Last 3 drives, 41 yards on 14 plays, 0 points.....
Pugger said:
I understand the Eagles didn't have their top receivers in uniform Monday night
In fairness, we were also without our Pro Bowl CB, Terrance Newman... And also, DeSean Jackson's a good...
Pugger said:
and they ran roughshod all over Dallas' secondary.
Again, the Dallas defense was only responsible for 23 of the Eagles 37 points.....

Dallas' defense only allowed ONE play of more than 20 yards....

4 Sacks
10 QB pressures
14 Hurries
259 yards Passing
78 yards Rushing
337 yards Total

Pot, meet Kettle.....

*Dallas still allows 30 less Passing-Yards per Game than the Packers... Despite one of the Packers games being against Tavaris Jackson....

*Dallas also allows 60 less Total Yards per Game.....

Pugger said:
Everyone wonders how the Pack will contain TO but I'm eager to see how Dallas will contain Jennings, Driver, Martin, Jones, Nelson and Lee....

Well, I dont think we'll stop the Packers offense, you just hope to contain them... I think it will be another shootout... That doesn't mean that either defense sucks, it's just that both offenses are very good...

As much as I would love for us to destroy the cowgirls, I think this match up is just too close. I say our defence will be the deciding factor.

"12 Time NFL Champions" ???? what garbage do u speak of?

The Green Bay Packers have won more championships -- 12 -- than any other team in National Football League history.

They won their first three by league standing (1929, 1930 and 1931), and nine since the NFL's playoff system was established in 1933 (1936, 1939, 1944, 1961, 1962, 1965, 1966, 1967 and 1996).

Green Bay also is the only NFL team to win three straight titles, having done it twice (1929-30-31 and 1965-66-67).

In addition, the Packers won the first two Super Bowls (over Kansas City in 1966, 35-10, and over Oakland in 1967, 33-14), as well as a more recent one (over New England in 1996, 35-21).

Since the league implemented a playoff system in 1933, the Packers have played in the NFL's deciding game 12 times (10 NFL title appearances from 1936-67, two Super Bowls after the 1970 merger). Only the Giants (18) have played for more titles.

Most World Championships:
Green Bay Packers, 12
Chicago Bears, 9
New York Giants, 7
Dallas Cowboys, 5
Pittsburgh Steelers, 5
San Francisco 49ers, 5
Washington Redskins, 5
Cleveland Browns, 4
Detroit Lions, 4
Indianapolis/Baltimore Colts, 4

He really gets himself in trouble..

Maybe from now on he should double check his facts ( or spelling ) before saying anything?

Realistically this game can't be as wide open as the 'Boys/Gulls matchup on MNF. Unless Bigby isn't 100%, the GB defensive secondary will fare much better than PHI.

Newman hurting & no Roy Williams is just the kind of advantage GB needed to get Rodgers off to a fast start.

Adam Jones will take some time to gel with his new mates. Now that makes 3 different starters in the DAL defensvie secondary since last season.

Unless DAL can generate a consistent pass rush Rodgers will find the open man & light the scoreboard early & often.

Doesn't look like Bigby will play.
From Packers.com

Safety Aaron Rouse, who missed last season's prime-time game at Dallas as a rookie because of a knee injury, will likely get the starting nod Sunday against one of the most explosive offenses in the league.

Starting strong safety Atari Bigby sustained a hamstring injury Sunday at Detroit toward the end of the first half attempting to break up a pass intended for wide receiver Mike Furrey in the end zone, and was unable to return.

Head Coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday he didn't think Bigby would be able to play against Dallas, and that Rouse took the majority of the reps with the first unit in practice.

"You are always taught to be ready in this business," Rouse said. "You never know when it is your time to be out there, and when the time comes you've got to step up.

"We're playing the Cowboys, Sunday night, a prime-time game. Who wouldn't be excited? I'm looking forward to the opportunity to go out and start and have a big game."

It won't be Rouse's first chance to start, as he opened three straight games as a rookie in '07 when starting free safety Nick Collins was sidelined with a knee injury.

Nobody gives a crap about 1930, 31, etc.... There were only like 8 teams in the NFL back then, and all of them won at least one "World Championship" and most won numerous times....

The Washington fans try and use the same crap... They like to think that their 5 "Championships" are equal to our 5 SUPER BOWLS, but we all know they're not (you included)......

Most Super Bowls - Dallas Cowboys - 5

Most Super Bowl Appearances - Dallas Cowboys - 8

Most Playoff Wins - Dallas Cowboys - 32

Highest Franchise Winning Percentage (playoffs included) - Dallas Cowboys - .577

Winning Record Against 25 of the 31 other teams - Dallas Cowboys

No cowboyuptx,
That line of yours is a " cop out" simply because you are in denial. The NFL started long before the expansion cowpokes came in in the early 60's. It is NFL fact and NFL history. The NFL did not start in 67'. Get over it. Stand up and be a man.

It really cracks me up that so many cowboy fans came to the Packers site and talked $hit. Most of you guys don't have any class and it shows in many posts. You talk $hit and fail to accept that your team has NOT WON a playoff game since Aikman was at the controls.

I can tell you this, had Dallas been around in the early years of the NFL and won Championships YOU would be bringing up that information but, it is NOT Dallas that made NFL history...it is the Green Bay Packers.

Win 12 Championships, then talk.

Hah Hah Ha. You are a "ding ****". NFL Championships, bozo. Not just the Super Bowl.

Please go back to your own site because you are a real embarrasment to real cowboy fans.

Once again and for the last time. GET OVER IT. The NFL did not start in 1967.

We'll just have to agree, to disagree... If your team hasn't won 5 Super Bowls, then I dont think you could understand....

You can now continue clinging to your ancient victories over legendary teams like the Pottsville Maroons, the Frankford Yellow Jackets, the Decatur Staleys, the Providence Steam Roller, and the unforgettable Portsmith Spartans...
