Notebook: Collins hopes to play Sunday

If the Green Bay Packers learned anything during the second half of Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings, it’s they better hope safety Nick Collins is healthy and ready to play.

Collins injured his quadriceps early in the third quarter Sunday and had to leave the game. After Collins went out, rookie Marviel Underwood came in, and perhaps coincidentally, Green Bay’s defensive breakdown began.

Collins is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game, but returned to practice for the first time Thursday, and said he thought he would be able to go against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Nick Collins should stay seated and wait for the Steelers game before he comes back....

He'll end up the same way as Ahman Green.... you watch...

Maybe he should take things easy and wait until he is 100%... he seems to be our strenght in the secondary.
