Well, I'll say this about Moss playing in Green Bay: It would be INTERESTING. But I don't think he's worth the price. I've never liked these diva wide receivers. They tend to tear teams apart.

Like I said he's willing to take a paycut....That willingness makes it clear he is no longer a selfish DIVA!!!!!!

Some people never grow up. They spiral downward out of control until they crash and burn.

1) There is a better way to spend 10 million dollars.
Moss contract is 2x what it cost to sign 12 draft picks last year.
Or Moss will cost the same as Driver, Tauscher, and Henderson combined in 2006 or 4 Ahman Greens.

2) His contract is 40% of the cap room the Packers have 2007.

3) His production is declining as is his speed. His dropped passes have increased.

4) He is extreme in his emotional responses. Play hard and pose for cameras when winning, sulking, talking plays off, and walking off the field when losing. With the Raiders he has maintained his personna of the uncaring, aloof WR.

5) He has been infected with purple slime and will never recover.

2 out of the 4 serious points your brought up will be a non factor. The Packers won't make a deal unless he restructures and early reports are he'll restructure to come to Green Bay.

Moss was different in Oakland, maybe hes grown up some. And hes right, after we saw one catch to Moss by Brett Favre we would love him. We need help on our team..and if its true that Brett wants MOss then he thinks he still has what it takes to get the job done IMO...

Interesting, Randy loves a new team.

This is from 2 years ago........ That worked out well.

New Raider Moss: 'I'm in love right now'
Team's new wide receiver sets sights on Super Bowl

AP Updated: 5:00 p.m. CT March 3, 2005

“I don’t see this team slipping with the addition of me. I just see them adding more firepower,” Moss said.

“Hopefully, the people love me and will accept me, and I’m just here to make the best of another opportunity,” Moss said.

Moss said, “ With the Oakland Raiders, I get a new start and a chance to go to the Super Bowl.”

I think Moss wants a chance to win more games, the Raiders sucked this past year and they need more help then we do. He probably thinks teaming up with Favre they could put the numbers up and maybe get to a superbowl together...I must say I would rather have him on our team then to play against him...

Bottom line, if we get moss and a good tight end, we can compete for a superbowl the next 3 years if favre sticks around.

If we dont get him, Favre plays out his last year next year and we finish 9-7 and maybe make the playoffs, maybe not. Wtf, its all about winning the superbowl. I'd rather have a chance the next 3 years than not.

Everybody has selective memory. I dont care who thinks he's lost a step, there is not one db in football who can cover him one on one and not allow 3 huge plays per game. we dont have a guy like that who you have to scheme for. He will open up the entire offense for us. Guys like that are worth whatever it takes to get them. They are the type of players who you can put into an offense that doesnt have a great passing system and turn it into a great passing offense.

Favre will get 30 - 35 touchdowns next year if we pick up Moss & a good tight end. And no, its not just the alcohol talking

For the rest of you, here ya go.

Well.....i am CERTAIN the Packer brass, if they really ARE interested in Moss, would have gone over all the film of Moss over the last 2 years to see how "bad" he is now. So if THEY think he's worth it, i think they would be better judges then any fan would.

i dont think he is bad, like most people said he just does not try any more.

but if he is playing with favre it will make him want to play good(as stated in another article) because he kind of looks up to him.

im pretty sure he has at least 2 or 3 years left in him.

he will also really open up the passing game for favre.

Its not him, it was the raiders...no wide out can succeed on that team.....Im so sick of hearing he cant play....Id like to see donald driver on the raiders last year....He would have had the same numbers as moss...A player cant do anything about only having 4 passes thrown to him a game because of sacks, double coverage, and lack of a QB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is kind of like an ALL IN poker hand. And I kinda like it.

Moss is tempermental, selfish, egotistical, and, expensive.... but Favre, back to pass, looking deep down the right sideline, lets it go to Moss, who goes up between two defenders, and makes the catch, touchdown, is.....priceless.

Say what you want but the Favre, who LOVES to throw it up there, to Moss, who LOVES to go up and get it would be the most dynamic duo you will have seen in BF's entire career in GB.

Call me naive but I see Randy Moss as a guy who WANTS it on his shoulders and hasn't been getting it and Brett who would more than accomodate him with his love to go deep and let it ride.

I say put it ALL IN. Once in awhile you got to go for it.

We need that quick strike capability to put fear in defenses and MAKE them play us more straight up. I see no one player out there that could have more impact for us than Moss whether you like him or not.

Well casinos always win.
There is always a broke fool begging bus fare or waving his thumb to hitch a free ride.

Sometimes a one in a thousand chance hits, 999 times the amount of the bet and the other things you could have bought with the money are all gone.

thats the worst analogy ive ever seen....

Randy moss is not a one in a thousand odds reciever.. thats ridiculous... ****** me off that you can even say that.

randy moss is a 2 to 1 odds to be great here... he is more likely to be good than to be bad.

Cheesey, looking at film is why the deal will not happen.

I think people are foolish if they think he'll come in and give Green Bay 1500 yards and 10+ touchdowns for 2 or 3 years in a row. However I think the reason for his decline in a large part is the Raiders offense stunk that much. You put Donald Driver in a Raider uniform last year and he doesn‘t get 1000 yards. That was one of the worst offenses I‘ve seen in a long time. I think 800 to 1200 yards and 6 to 8 touchdowns is not out of the question though and he does give Green Bay the deep threat they need. They don‘t need him to run across the middle and be Donald Driver. They have Driver and Jennings to do that. They need someone that can stretch the field and open things up and Moss would do that.

It comes down to compensation. If the Raiders are willing to take a 3rd and a player or just a 3rd then I think the Packers have to get a deal done.

However I wouldn't give up a 2nd or a 1st or multiple picks for him.

The difference between a casino and a poker hand is the casino assures itself of having the odds in it's favor before the game begins.

In poker, every player around the table has the same odds of winning until the cards are dealt. Then the men are separated from the boys.

Your obviously not a gambler and that's o.k. but if your trying to say the odds are against the Packers being better with Moss I would be willing to sit at that table all day long.

It's your deal.

You see the "ace in the hole" I am showing is Brett Favre. Everyone talks about Moss but it has more to do with the Moss/Favre combination than anything else. You want to bet against it that's your choice.

If you deal me the Moss card I'm in because it gives me a "pair" that I don't think you can beat.

New Raider Moss: 'I'm in love right now'
Team's new wide receiver sets sights on Super Bowl

“Hopefully, the people love me and will accept me, and I’m just here to make the best of another opportunity,” Moss said.

Moss said, “ With the Oakland Raiders, I get a new start and a chance to go to the Super Bowl.”

He was talking about the Raiderettes... He liked the cheerleaders. Thus the 2nd statement...
