He is sick, according to McCarthy.

He expects Clifton to be able to play Sunday, but what if he's not! Yikes.

I hope Colledge got enough reps! lol

(does anyone have any updates on this situation, I got this info from mccarthsy conference transcript from yesterday)

Here's the Injury Report filed by the Packers staff:

OUT: T Junius Coston (knee)
QUESTIONABLE: CB Will Blackmon (foot); RB William Henderson (knee)
PROBABLE: T Chad Clifton (illness)

I would bet Clifton will be in there.

He should tough it up. If he doesn't play then that's a huge loss. In fact Clifton needs to play through it. He's to important to that line.

Short of being in the ICU Clifton will be on the field on Sunday.
It is not unusual at all for players to have I.V.s removed right before the game and reinserted during half time.

I will be shocked if he is not playing on Sunday.

Actually the JS had McCarthy saying the Clifton was "sick, but would play Sunday" in the Saturday morning edition.

Should be a non-issue.

After watching the game, I wish Clifton would have sat it out.

Oh wait. Who's our backup? Oh, 4 sacks allowed isn't too bad then.

Trom: it turned out you were right, Clifton did not play today. He suited up and took his spot on the offense, but despite being present, it would be difficult to call what he was doing playing football
