I THINK only unpaid sign bonus is what the Packers are accountable for (so 4 mil). I'm not sure about roster bonuses, but salary is wiped clean once you cut someone.

Cletidus Hunt - March 2003 signed a six-year deal worth $25.35 million, that included a $6 million signing bonus.

$6 million signing bonus prorated at $1 million/yr (2003-2008)
$1 million million roster bonuses in years '04 through '08
Remaining base salaries and other bonuses:

I'd like to see more about that position as far as the Packers are concerned! I'll be back with more.....
