Despite our guests visiting this week not showing any fear of the Packers, just wanted to share that Cheaters fans in their own forums are indeed worried about our Pack as they should be.
Of course not all of them are and the forums are filled with the same chest thumping we are getting here but just wanted to point this out to balance the bravado we are getting from the Cheater fans here.

Quotes from a couple of those forums.

    http://www.patriotsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=69031

Sucks we get them in Lambeau, their offense is pretty average on the road but at home they become the best in the league.

I dunno, it's in Green Bay, which is the only thing that gives me a bit of pause, especially since they'll be a home dog for sure.

Like, I could see the Patriots up 7-10 the whole game, be in control, but Green Bay scoring late or something.

    http://www.patsfans.com/new-england...apon-to-take-away-from-aaron-rodgers.1113805/

The Packers are impressive in every phase of the game. #1 in takeaways and giveaway/takeaway margin, good on special teams, good running attack, and the closest QB to Tom Brady in Aaron Rodgers. This is a great measuring stick for how good the Patriots are this year.
But the one guy who keeps the engine running and the chains moving is Jordy Nelson: over 1,000 yards receiving already, 9 TDs, averaging 97 yards receiving/game and 15.4 yards per catch. He's a good blocker and has deceptive speed. He's a dangerous hybrid WR/TE

Jordy Nelson reminds me of a 'Silent Assasin' He can get by DBs streakin down sidelines or crossing post for long gains. Looks like he's havin an average day but his Stats are usually around 100 yds and Tds. He HAS to be accounted for and R. Cobb is no slouch as well.

This might be tricky but if somehow they can take away Rodgers' double check belt...

    http://www.patriotsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=69031&page=4

I'm in agreement with the bit about Jordy Nelson...but with him, it's all about playing smart and preventing the big play. He always seems to get open for a huge gain once per game....we need to make sure that doesn't happen.

I'm more worried about Cobb, to be honest.

...I think Jordy Nelson is as big an X factor as Gronk is. That kid is tough to stop and tough to bring down.
And the other X factor is that A. Rodgers can run.

Many of the Patriots fans here are VERY worried about playing Green Bay in Lambeau. They feel the Packer defense is much better at home and are afraid of turnovers

They seem more confident of a Patriots win than most here are of a Packers win. No respect for our defense, and faith in being able to slow down Cobb and Nelson. I really, really, really, think the Packers need someone else to step up on offense, someone not named Nelson, Cobb or Lacy. The Patriots are great at taking away what you do best, so whether it's Quarless, Adams, Rodgers(TE), Starks, or whoever else, we need someone to step it up.

Rodgers is the closest thing to Brady? Please. The best QB hands-down plays at 1265 Lombardi Ave at least 8 times a year, not once every 8 years. Brady is a close second, but he is, indeed, second.

Brady's been doing it longer, Rodgers' been doing it better.

No I really believe that because that's what I've watched the Patriots do for fifteen years under BB. They take away what you do best and don't beat themselves(i.e. they have finished in the top ten in turnover differential 12 of the last 14 years). That has been their formula for success.

It will then come down to who wins the match-ups. Saying that Revis 1 - on -1 against Cobb will take away Cobb is what may happen, or putting Browner on Nelson w/ safety help over the top may take away Nelson, but that assumes that Revis is always going to win the battles and that the Packers will have no way of freeing Nelson if that's what the Pats want to do.

Plus, as anyone well knows, if a defense puts their efforts into shutting down a couple of players, it opens up other options. Many QBs can't handle it when their primary targets are taken away (see Matthew Stafford), but when you're talking about an elite QB who is excellent at reading defenses like AR is, then they make you pay for doing just that.

It's like Packer fans saying, ok, let's double team Gronk and take him away from Brady because he's Brady's go-to guy, and let's make sure and put extra pressure on Brady with timely blitzes. Does that mean Brady has no options left? Far from it.

Surprisingly, their fans are confident in their teams ability to win on Sunday provided the Pats do exactly what said fans say. Yeah, sounds like us. ;) The first forum you linked to just kind of 'read' like a forum populated by older fans, the second, more like one populated by guys who get their info off of talk radio.

Frankly, whether or not a certain section of their fan bases respects the Pack, isn't consequential. Eddie isn't going to run any harder if those guys disrespect him .... and Brady isn't going to launch rocket balls because of anything we say. I am looking forward to this game, solely to see how the Pack's "dressed up" defense will hold up against a REAL quarterback.

5-4 in the playoffs doesn't really qualify him as being better than Brady - most wins by a QB in postseason history. Rodgers has also had better weapons than Brady in recent years.

Rodgers hasn't had a better career than Brady yet, he hasn't played nearly long enough. It's also a little unfair to judge him on his playoff record compared to Brady as well, considering Brady has been the start for eight years longer.

I really don't know who I would say is the better quarterback. It's a close call.

True, but this week that's not going to work. They can pick there poison. I hope Revis is on Jordy. I want to see Arod abuse him.

Nelson and Cobb versus Revis and Browner will be huge one on one matchups. Hopefully Cobb and Nelson do abuse them.

TB3XSBW is fan of picking one state alone and using it as the be all end all stat.

Rodgers is the second highest rated playof QB of all time, so he's better than the 5-4 record. The Arizona game and 49ers game when they put up 45 certainly were on the defense and not Rodgers.

Yeah wait until Hoodie and that pretty boy fruitbasket of a QB they have both retire. I am sure they will be thinking that the Patriots will beat a team bloody week in and week out. It's really funny that the Patriots fans do not respect the Packers or what this offense or team is capable of doing. I've never read these message boards of their's personally because I do not give a rats ***. I do need a good laugh from the biggest bandwagon fanbase besides the Cowboys in the NFL.

You mean the second highest playoff rating of all time? Behind Starr I assume?

I finally had to put em' all on ignore. Just plain sick and tired of listening to them. Go to the Pats forum where people want to hear that crap. I was polite for long enough. Now it's like, "OK. That's nice. Now STFU and go away."

Wins is a team stat. Brady has had better defenses most of that time to help him. Rodgers has a career passer rating that is 10 points higher and this season his passer rating is 18 points higher, which translates to higher efficiency. Rodgers has a higher completion %, a higher average per attempt, 4 more TDs and 3 fewer INTs. Again, Brady is somewhere behind Rodgers RIGHT NOW.

To me this is the game where Cobb shows his true, immense value. I believer they will bracket Jordy and do everything they can to make him as non-existent as possible. The scary thing is that is exactly what the Saints tried and succeeded doing and we all know how that game ended. The Pats have a better secondary IMO but I also believe our boys have spent a fair amount of time trying to break that code to ensure Jordy is still at least somewhat involved. Everyone has a bad game now and then so maybe that Saints game was 87's mulligan? This is where RC comes in. I read on one post above how Revis will probably be on Cobb and while this may sound crazy I honestly hope he is. 18 is one of the toughest guys in the league to shadow and I think he can win that match-up more times than not. I am in no way degrading DR as I believe he will one day be a sure fire HOF'er but I do think his best days are behind him and I don't think he has the quicks in tight quarters to stay with Randall. As we all witness most every game AR has a knack for keeping a play alive and how many times do we see RC coming back to the ball or taking one deep on a "busted play?" The absolute key to me as is the case most games will be the ability of our OL to keep 12 clean. This combined with Lacy continuing to play a high level and I just can't see the Pats shutting down this offensive unit. I really hope that come the end of the game we are all talking about how TT and Co. need to have Cobb locked up quickly and the idea of him leaving simply can't be entertained. THIS my friends is why we watch football and come to great boards like this one. THIS is one of those rare regular season games with all the pomp and circumstance of a huge playoff clash that I believe will actually live up to the hype. THIS is one of those games that separates the boys from the men and I fully expect that come the final whistle our boys will be walking off that beautiful, historic field as winners. Goodness gracious I am figgin pumped up and will be counting down the minutes until kickoff! Now let's show up, ball out and show the world the REAL #12 wears G and G. G P G!!!

When we win I'll take 'em off ignore and rub it in.
Classless? I don't care. I'm not representing any fans of Packers Nation. Just myself.
If they will come into this house and be disrespectful then they should get it right back.
I wouldn't be surprised if some or even all of them stayed away and just went back to their own forums to whine and cry about their loss instead of coming back here with their tails between their legs to face the music.

LOL... if I was superstitious about jinxes and stuff (which I'm not) then I would bitch slap you right about now, but instead I admire your hubris and hope the Packers walk onto the field in 24 hours with the same confidence because it's their house and they should be appalled that ANY team would have the audacity to come into Lambeau and expect to win... and they should beat the hell out of them in every way just for thinking it!
