Was it me or did Charles look a little bit out of sorts? He seemed to be out of position a lot and seem to over run plays...

He also got burned a couple times very BADLY. Anyone else notice?

Never noticed him getting burned, and saw him fall once ( pretty sure he got pushed into that fall). It was a statistically slow day, but I think the Eagles still have a very high-octane offense that we did a phenomenal job just to keep pace with.

Do correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Packers keep Woodson out of 2 of the 4 pre-season games?

It seemed he was still trying to get in a groove out there. That's scary, because it means our D isn't playing up to their best yet, which leaves a lot of improvement for a D that played really good today.

Opposing teams beware, our D will hurt you. And, of course, Greg Jennings will then make their heads explode.

Do not question the end result.

Woodson always starts slow. He is pacing himself.

Woodson is the "Ron Jeremy" of corners in the N.F.L. You know he will have a big finish. He is pacing himself.

Even though Woodson was not all on today he still demanded respect, and was more productive then Walker or Williams would have been in those same snaps on the field.

If I remember right, Packer fans were *****ing about Woodson in week one last year.

He will be there.

Cuz he sucked.

He sucked for about the first 4 weeks, when I couldn't tell if it was Woodson or Carroll. Then he transformed.

Lets hope the transformation comes sooner this year.

Trom,

He did not "Suck" the first 4 games of last year.

He may have "Sucked" based on what was expected when he was signed as a BRILLIANT pick up by the BRILLIANT and future Hall Of Fame GM Ted Thompson.

However... He really did not "SUCK" in the first 4 games last year.

He under achieved based on his reputation coming into a new team as a expensive free agent. He clearly did not suck.... He was good and not great in the first 4 games last year.

He sucked. He was beat deep pretty bad in those games. It wasn't until he had that interception for a TD against Miami that made him change.

But Woodson went against Kevin Curtis and other than the big reception--Woodson was fine. If anybody sucked it was Jarrett Bush.

Yeah, I think he was pushed when he fell on that long third-down reception. Later in the game, he committed a blatant defensive holding penalty on what would've been a sack by Cullen Jenkins. I think that one happened out of frustration. The refs were letting the Philly guys mug Donald Driver, so maybe he thought he should do the same, but it was just way too blatant.

I think last year he was just okay in the first four games, but he did not suck. He may have got beaten deep once, twice at the most. (He ended up leading the league in that statistic at the end of the season--fewest times a starting CB got beat deep.) I expect him to pick up his game as he did last year.

Those of you who keep saying this guy sucked last year or sucks this year just stop it will you.
Everyone of these guys are "elite atheletes" who have worked all their lives to achieve their goal to play in the NFL.
I am so sick of people on this forum slamming a guy just because he messed up a play or he was beaten by someone on another team.
The Packers don't have the "VERY BEST PLAYER"at every position, they are not going to win every game and they are not going to play error free football.
Enjoy the fact that The Pack won a very ugly game yesterday, and are probably right now going over the film trying to see where improvements can be made.
JUST QUIT WITH "HE SUCKS" COMMENTS.
Be a fan support your team through the good and bad.!!!!!!

I thought he had a solid game. The only miscue was biting and slipping on the inside out move that resulted in a completion.

Didn't really hear much of Kevin Curtis or Reggie Brown at all. That's because of Woodson and Harris. Woodson had a penalty and fell down once but overall he was solid.

So true.

Last year Al shut down every #1 of every offense we played. He had a max of like 2 catches allowed all year.

Reggie Brown had one yesterday, and I think Curtis had 1 or 2, and at least on of those was when Harris was in the locker room.

Compare the amount of deep attempts to any game last season. Our secondary mostly did it's job, the line constantly flushed McNabb out, and the LB's blanketed the TE's and even fared pretty well against one of the game's best checkdown guys, Westbrook.

Everyone on D did their jobs, and they shut down one of the most formidable, flexible passing games in the NFC. I was very pleased.
