The way it looks.......the Bears will be one and done!

What will Phil and Skito say now?

It beats sucking all season and dreaming of the NFL draft.

no ... championships are found in the draft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then why did the Bengal’s suck for so long? How about Arizona? Detriot?
High draft picks mean nothing if you draft a chump (Cade McNown)

oops hoped all the !! would give it away that its sarcasm

anyhow lets see if i can make something of this lol

You're last line validates my comment. If you have three doors and one has a lombardi trophy behind it and you select taking whats behind the window, jus who's fault is that you didnt get a trophy?

No, I got it. I have just seen a lot of **** poor picks myself.
McNown, Enis, Terrell, Spillman, Salamm.... oh man, I am getting ill.

Atleast you don't have Mandrich instead of Barry Sanders hanging over your head.

yeah thats true. grossman seems like he could pan out. hes a somewhat early first rounder. cedric benson was

1. not very good
2. hurt

not a good combo for a rookie season. when you make thomas jones look good...not a good start

I still think that Benson will be a very good player but he is not what they needed.
Jones rushed for 1,300 yards even though he had a couple of injuries and Peterson could start for a few teams. I wanted Brylon Edwards who was playing well until he got banged up.

Benson will be fine. If he didn't have that contract dispute with the Bears that cost him most of training camp I think he probably would've started the season as the Bears number one halfback. He was a horse at Texas, and he'll be a horse in the NFL. As for Thomas Jones, he's been pretty good since coming over to Chicago.

That one is a killer. We got to be one the other end of that kind of deal when Portland drafted Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan. :D

The Packers won the only Superbowl out of them and Detroit during Barry Sanders' career. I wouldn't change that for anything.

Makes me wonder if we could have gotten more than just one if we had a HoF RB for 10 straight years with a HoF QB.
