Buzz in Minny... Sharper might be on the bubble..

A client of ours and I where talking this morning and he dropped this little note that with Doss being added, Sharpers cap salary and the depth at safety, that Sharper might be on the bubble for a roster spot or playing time. But I though, I wonder if that be the case would we want him back.

Now if that rumbling around Minny has any truth to it, would we in Packerland want to take a look at the former safety?


According to the Vikings site this is whom they have at safety.

We are not going to cut Sharper. Unfortunately, it will probably be Greg Blue, who is a promising young player.

Once you go purple, you can't come back....it should be a rule.

On the one hand, Sharper has experience, he can't be any worse than who we currently have, and he probably has a couple of decent years left if he's willing to play for a reasonable contract.

On the other, he burned his bridges when he left here and he's, well,....... a Viking. We don't sign their players in order to improve (except for Gilbert), they sign ours. And we're 12-20 the last 2 years, it shows you what they consider to be an improvement!
