[QUOTE="Voyageur, post: 1052269, member: 17953"] In reference to sweet spots, they are a real thing. That's why you see certain players taking 3s for the most part when they're in a specific location around the arc. The majority of the Bucks have their spots. The guy that it doesn't seem to matter is Lillard. I know, when I played HS ball, there were a couple of spots, on either side of the free throw line, where I could hit 75% of my shots. But, straight on, and further around the arc? Not so good. Of course, in those days, there was no 3 point bucket, and if you dunked, it was called goal tending and the basket was wiped out. I "accidentally" dunked one time, and I have no idea how I got that much elevation to be honest. Even then, it was actually my letting the ball go off my fingertips, over the rim. They wiped it out. I was so proud. LOL If you watched the game against the Cavs, you'd see how they had the Bucks running to defend them at the arc, and they set up consistently from the spots they wanted to take the shots. They burned us because we couldn't handle defending them. And, yes, there are sweet spots. Here's an article that might shed some light on it, and how you work to find your own.
