Is he still a Packer? or is he injured or am i missing something big ?

Salary cap casualty. He was making too much money, so we thanked him, shook his hand, and let him go.

Hopefully Bubba will take advantage of some stupid GM and make a fat deal elsewhere. I wish him the best.

havent heard anything about teams having an interest in him, perhaps once Crumpler gets signed he will get a chance somewhere.

He made too much money... He wasnt worth much anymore anyways, really disappointing the last few years

As a reciever, yes his value had decreased, however he was still very effective in the running game as a blocker and has some value in short range recieving.. but I completely agree that his value didn't match his salary and something had to give.

Hopefully things work out for him in the near future.. class act both on and off the field from what I could see.

something big...this is Bubba walking away from Lambeau

:kickcan:

OK, that was cruel. Bubba was a class act on and off the field. I wish him well (and hope he doesn't sign with the Vikes).

I always liked Big Bubba.........he seemed to be regaining his old ability towards the end of the year.

He has smarts and experience and is still a good blocker.

Unfortunately, he was making a lot of money. That's why we had to let him go.

Now, hopefully some GM will give him a fat paycheck. I like the guy. I hope he cashes in during Free Agency Madness.
