Here is the bottom line on the draft for my beloved Pack.

1. It is a new day.
2. It is all way too good right now.
3. It is all really way too good right now.

No person here can tell us how the draft has gone at this point. No person here, or any of the talking heads in the media really know, however, the bottom line is there is excitement about change. Change is exciting and change is way too good.

The change in this team from three weeks ago to right now is impressive, and exciting.

Brett is back.

IM ALL IN!

excitement can take you a long way, but you have to have the players to take you the furthest.

i think we are setting something special up for years to come and its starting with a defense that we hope is gonna start smackin people around and makin them respect us.

It might just be the alcohol but.... I am freakin excited about this upcoming season.... we arent too far removed ... just last year. from a winning team..... we had a bad year with injurys and all around apathy last year.. but before that we were a solid NFC champion team... we have weeded out some problems, gained some talent, gotten healthy, and we still got number 4. I think we are gonna prove a lot of people wrong, and win a lot more games than expected.

no matter what pack66 says to rain on my parade.

Right now we can't get in over our heads. It's fun to predict but we need to see mini camp and training camp. Last year you could tell it was heading for a disaster by watching the team during training camp. This year I like McCarthy's attitude more than Sherman’s and I think he may end up being a good coach.

Mini camp is this Friday. 1st of 3 and Brett will be there. That's another plus from McCarthy. Not too bash Sherman he was a good coach and won a heck of a lot of games but to be real he inherited a team that I thought should've won at least one Super Bowl in his tenure.

Right now if I had to say and this is base off last year because we haven’t seen these guys yet. The Pack are about a 6 or 7 win team. Now if the talent gels in training camp they could win 9 or 10 and make the playoffs.

Frankly the division stinks and someone should emerge. Green Bay is definitely a sleeper in my opinion. 9 or 10 wins this year will give you the North.

All in what a great week. Favre is back. Woodson signed. Solid Draft!! Have to be happy right now.

Sure does scharles.

Brett says "I'm in."
Woodson signs.
Hawk gets drafted among 11 other prospects.

I think we're gonna surpise people this year in a positive way.

Think positive about the next 12 months. I am.

Raiders- 8 and 8

Packers- 11 and 5

Google stock - $520

Gas - $199 per gallon (No political comments or feed back please.)

The Stanley Cup goes back to Canada where it belongs.

The Yankees lose to the Red Sox on a Johnny Damon strike out with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth at Fenway in the playoffs.

Mike Weir wins the British open with a 4 foot putt on the 18th hole on Sunday.

Brother Derek wins the Kentucky Derby and the Triple Crown.

Sports fans find Boxing again.... and realize Floyd Mayweather is as good as any great boxer to watch.

Kasey Kahne wins the Nextel Cup.

Then there will be the birth of the year 2007 sports year with the playing of the Super Bowl.... Brett goes out with a Super Bowl victory and a T.D. pass in the last minute that he should not have thrown into double coverage.

It will all be good.... No.... It will all be great.

If all that happens I can die with a smile on my face, and you shall never see another post from RP again.

DON'T FORGET....The Packers still have a lot of cap room (although Hawk will eat a lot of it) and FA isn't over AND june cuts are still to come...so there's even more room for improvement before the season starts!!!!!!!

Too bad we still don't have Bates as DC...

Can you imagine what he could do with this group?

Agree 66, only time will tell if TT played his cards right with the coaching change but my gut tells me Bates would have been great !!

Yeah, Bates right hand man for 5 years, and a coach that was on the packers last year as well.

-Familiarity with the coach
-Same system
-Awesome players
