Trom you like all the Chicago Teams like the Cubs and Bulls but what makes you a Packers fan over the Bears? Not that it is a bad thing

It would be nice if the Brewers just stopped losing.

I have no idea. As long as I've watched football I've been a Packers fan. I love the history and tradition and class, but I dont know if thats why I initially liked them. Who knows. You're stuck with me! Deal with it! lol.

Not enough. I want to see them with at least a .600 record. No more barely over (or under) .500 crap. Time to dominate.

    YANKEES! :D

If they can honestly stay healthy, they'll go all the way. Their pitching WILL improve a great deal as the season goes on, and now we have an all-star batting lineup from 1-8. I'm loving it!

Ugh I can't understand how anybody can like the Yankees. They are the perfect example of everything that is wrong with sports. The throw money at players to make the team good mindset.

lol super, I grew up in NY! It's funny, because I don't like the Redskins philosophy of trying to "buy" championships, and I didn't like it when the Yanks tried to do it last year too. The fact is, Brian Cashman FINALLY has full control of the team, and he isn't going to overspend to get every player. I really think they are going to start a new era down there.

Is there a single home grown guy on the roster right now other than Robinson Cano? Maybe a couple pitchers? My favorite team is the Minnesota Twins. Almost their entire roster came from their minor league system. The owner is a billionaire that refuses to spend money. It is depressing when they get a really good player that inevitably leaves to a big money team. I know Johan Santana will most likely end up playing for New York or Boston or somewhere that can pay big money. So depressing.

Hey I agree with you super. I was pissed the last few years because they really were doing things in a bad way. Over paying is not the way to go. But that was all good ol' George. The best thing I can say is that Brian has control, and George's son-in-law is going to be taking over soon, and he is a lot more level headed than his father in law. And I definitly agree with you, Yanks need to get some players in their minor system to stand a chance, but they just traded them away for all-star players, whom they then signed to big money deals. Unfortunatly, the only JUST learned from their mistakes...

ok you are cool then. I totally understand it being a home state thing and not being like some people that like them because they win alot or because they sign all the big names. I unfortunately don't have a sport where I can root for a home state team, having lived in Iowa all my life, so I root for mainly midwestern teams.

lol thanks Super. But the thing is I really am worried about this division, because of the fact that Toronto has REALLY improved. Boston doesn't worry me all that much, but Toronto does. They have some NICE talent, and the Yanks have been really slow starting (bad pitching can do that  ). I just hope the Jays falter down the strech...
