The Brewers were only at .500 38 games into the season and some had already written them off.  However, I think history has shown that once teams are eliminated from the playoffs (officially or mentally), they tend to become easier teams to beat, for the reasons that I stated before.No doubt a team that is only 20 games out right now, could get hot and claw their way back.  That said, as a Brewer fan, I would be just fine if the Brewers final 2 months were spent playing bottom dwellers, that had all but thrown the towel in.</blockquote>
