I've noticed that he disappears from time to time; a few months ago he was gone for what seemed like a couple of weeks, but then he came home. I was starting to worry about him a bit back then, but I guess he hasn't been gone long enough this time for me to notice.

I just googled "pokerbrat obituary", and got no hits, so he's probably OK.
