Has Brett stated for a fact that this will be his final year? I haven't heard him say it but I assume it will be.
MLB is great at promoting certain players final season. Cal Ripken is the first to come to mind. I know everybody will assume it's his last year, but I'd like to know for sure so the league and opposing fans can celebrate and appreciate a guy who's been one of the joys to watch in the past 15 years.
I'd love to hear some of the Viking, Lion, and Bear fans chime in on this subject. What kind of reaction would you your cities giving Brett on his final game there?
