Essentially you have to identify and assign your IPP and then basically its a one year committment that has zero risk or cost roster wise to the team...one could argue McNamee has the safest practice squad spot there is in GB. He can still be elevated the same three times even to that gameday without losing that designation. Cutting McNamee right now would be a loss with zero gain...even if McNamee never sees an active gameday, he is a kicker in house for in case of emergency you otherwise would not have. Say McManus wakes up with appendicitis and there is zero chance of getting a FA signed and in for the game...McNamee gives that security.</blockquote>
