We've all had those fantasy players that were never known in the NFL because frankly, they weren't good for long. Nevertheless, you remember them fondly because they may have been fantasy studs in your lineup for a month, or even a couple months, and had a big impact on your season. I've got two that come to mind.

Tyler Thigpen - This was the 2008 season. It got to the point where I was starting Thigpen over Rivers (back when Rivers was actually a top level QB). The best thing about Thigpen that year was his versatility -- he was almost always good for a few points worth of rushing yards, and one game he even had a 37 yard receiving TD. For a few games late in the 2008 season, he was tough to keep on the bench.

Nick Goings - Goings was something like the 6th string running back for Carolina back in the 2004 season or so, but he was a nice RB2 contributor for awhile that year, racking up his fair share of yards and TD's through both the ground game and air.
