When's the last time you changed the needle. Sometimes if you tape a penny to the top of the needle arm it will play better. Give it a shot :!:

Yayhoos - "Put the Hammer Down"
Loose, down-home hootenanny music from a couple of former Georgia Sattelites. Beer drinkin, *** shakin', good times.

Charlie Sexton - "Cruel and Gentle Things"
There is a reason he played with SRV's rhythm section in the Arc Angels at the age of 23...and has been Dylan's guitarist for he last 3 years. Great songwriting and scorching guitar work make this a must have for the year.

Replacements - "Who Do You Think We Thought We Were"
Look up college rock in the dictionary and you will find the Mats, not REM. These guys combined hard punk with pure pop...mixed in the lyrics of one of the generation's best songwriters (Paul Westerberg) and produced magic. Career compilation with some recently cut new songs. A must have for fans and a great introduction for the uninformed.

You have to love a band with lyrics like:

    - "you wished upon a star, that turned into a plane....."

    - "how young are you...how old am I...let's count the rings, around my eyes......."

    - "how do you say 'I love you' to an answering machine...."

    - "you're the coolest guy that I ever have smelled....."

    - "ain't lost yet so I gotta be a winner, fingernails and cigarettes a lousy dinner....."

You cheated kmac! Guster isn't out yet. I'm looking forward to that one also. Have to agree with Ben Harper and Death Cab as well, not sure how I forgot that one.

    I also recommend:

Dangerdoom - The Mouse in the Mask

Because, you know, I didn't get the Guster CD illegally on the internet or anything.
