I think Paul Hornung was wrong to gamble while still an active player.

I think Mike Sherman was wrong for keeping buddies who could not coach.

Having dared to take to task a Packer great and a coach who owns one hell of a W-L record...am I STILL allowed to be a Packers fan? Please, oh please...arbiters of Packers fandom.........

While we're at it, may I call Mark Chmura a scumbag that doesn't belong in Wisconsin, yet alone calling out Favre on a Milwaukee radio broadcast. As a father of 3 daughters I find his behavior with the neighborhood kids appauling. I know he was exonerated and all, but does anyone think he had any success counseling the troubled youth from his position in the hottub?

You're still a great Packer fan Digs, question anything you want!

That's apology #2....you got one left! You guys mention Sherman along with Hornung and Chmura? You might not like the job Sherman did but he never broke the law and was an ideal citizen!

DePack,

This isn't about Sherman, it is about our rights as Free Thinking Americans who happen to be Packer Fans!

What? Rip whoever you want. I'm just pointing out the difference between a perceived criminal and a perceived sh1tty coach. Character has never been an issue for Sherman. At least I don't think it has.

DePack,

I don't think I compared Chmura to Sherman. I just stated something derrogatory against an ex-Green Bay Packer pro bowler. I don't know what happen with Digs in another thread, but the tone of the original post in this thread made it sound like Digs was upset about someone's remarks to him with some comments about players and coaches he made.
I'm sure Sherman is a model citizen except when he gets pissed off at stupid questions from reporters at press conferences.

Although I have no evidence that Sherman ever did anything illegal or unethical, there are some us that think that David Martin must have pictures of somebody in a compromising position in order to stick around as long as he has. :-?

Nothing to apologize for 66, just be careful -- you know how out of control that obsession of yours can get
