By the end of the year, Myers was very strong on pass defense - I read that on 54 postseason passing snaps, he gave up zero sacks, zero hurries. It's his run blocking that worries me. Too many times, when he gets out into space, he doesn't seem to know what to do next. To be honest, sometimes it looks like he's afraid to pick a man until he knows for sure whether Ryan is going to miss his block, so maybe better guard play would make a difference. But he finished the year strong, and  I think he gets a solid chance to win the job convincingly this summer. He'll have all the competition he needs to motivate him.</blockquote>
