WR Jacksonville Jaguars Charles Dunbar Sharon http://www.tbo.com/news/metro/MGBB8VDR7ZE.html TAMPA - Charles Dubar Sharon, a Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver, faces weapons charges after Tampa police said they found him with a stolen handgun this past weekend. Sharon, 23, of Jacksonville, was charged Saturday with felony charges of carrying a concealed firearm and grand theft of a firearm. Police said Sharon and Jebidiah S. Crawford were sitting inside a parked Chevrolet Tahoe in Ybor City about 11:45 p.m. Saturday. An officer smelled marijuana smoke and approached the SUV, police said. The officer saw loose marijuana on Crawford's lap, leading police to search the SUV, according to a report. Police said a stolen Glock model 27 was found underneath the driver's seat, where Sharon was sitting. It was unclear who owned the Glock. Police said 8 grams of marijuana were found inside a Jacksonville Jaguars duffle bag. Crawford said the bag belonged to him, police said. Crawford, 22, of Jacksonville, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana under 20 grams. Crawford said he works as a technician for an air conditioning company, jail records show. The Jacksonville Jaguars media relations office declined to comment on Sharon's arrest. At 6 feet tall and 184 pounds, Sharon wears No. 17 for the Jaguars. A rookie in 2006, he was signed to the active roster Nov. 22 but did not play. He is the all-time leader in receiving yards and touchdowns at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Saturday night's arrest was the fourth for the Jaguars since the beginning of last season. Offensive tackle Khalif Barnes was arrested on drunken driving charges in November, and in October defensive end Bobby McCray was arrested on charges of reckless driving and possession of a controlled painkiller, although the drug charges were dropped. In September, cornerback Brian Williams pleaded no contest to drunken-driving charges. *************************************************************
