A nice fluff article about the greatest nicknames in Football History.

There were six Packers on the list:
1. Don Hutson - The Alabama Antelope
2. BJ Raji - The Freezer (I barely remember this as a nickname for BJ)
3. Reggie White - The Minister Of Defense
4. Paul Hornung - The Golden Boy
plus Favre and Andre Rison, a one year rental.

What were some other Packers nicknames that standout over time?
- Don "Magic Man" Majkowski
- Jake "Whitewater Jesus" Kumerow
- Ed "Tookbox" West
- "Frankie Bagadonuts" Winters
- Larry "The Rock" McCarren
- Gilbert Brown "The Gravedigger"

What else?

I have seen that others had a different Nickname here but I always called him "Travelin Travis Williams." He did run a 9.3 hundred yard dash.

I tried to get this to catch on when the Packers seemed to be relying on a 4th, 5th and 6th round pick plus Kumerow to be their saviors at the WR position but I guess "Super Jake and the wonder triplets" just didn't have the flair I thought it did.

How about Ahman "Batman" Green

Frankie grabs *** of girls he doesnt know

Oops

Inside joke
Since you took it in that direction there was Mark "hot tub" Chmura, Tiger "my aunt fanny" Green and James "stairway to heaven" Lofton. Oh, who can forget Darren "what a piece of shiit" Sharper.

Funny how the censor doesn't let s h i t through but the spell check lets you know shiit is incorrect.

Or did I misunderstand the thread ????? :whistling:
Buggs. I have absolutely nothing I can say to add or detract or even so much as make this right.
So.. I’m going to just gracefully take my hat off, bow my head and see myself out and disappear walking backwards in a respectful manner.. like you’re the King. :whistling:

Back in the day every neighborhood here in Chicago had someone nicknamed "bag of donuts".

I looked it up and I guess so because that was all I found. Hey, bag of donuts, you're up. Sounds weird to me.
It referred to his body type. To my memory Favre gave him the name while making fun of his physique.

Let's switch this to coaches. The only that I can think of is Jon Gruden being called "Chucky" after the horror movie character.
and it was fitting

wasn't the guy that took over from Vermeil in St. Louis "the professor"?
