From KFFL:

Joan Fleischman, of the Miami Herald, reports New Orleans Saints WR Donte' Stallworth was pulled over for driving with an expired paper tag on his 2005 Bentley, according to police. Stallworth handed the officer his license and then tried to drive off. Officers charged him with resisting arrest without violence, cited him for the expired tag, and took him to jail while having his Bentley towed.

The officer has the tag #. The officer has his drivers licence.

Yep just drive away and nobody will notice and no ticket will be issued.
Right.....

Yet Another NFL idiot arrested

New Orleans Saints DE Jimmy Verdon, was arrested and jailed by Kenner, La., police Sunday morning, March 19, and charged with three misdemeanors, including battery on a police officer with injury, Kenner police said Friday, March 24. Verdon was discovered by Kenner police at about 8:45 a.m. sleeping or unconscious in front of a Winn-Dixie supermarket in the 4000 block of Williams Boulevard, according to police spokesman Capt. James Gallagher. "He appeared to have been drinking," Gallagher said. One of the officers involved in the arrest suffered a sprained wrist, Gallagher said, but returned to duty after being checked at a hospital. The team said they were aware of the matter.

Dhani Makalani Jones, a starting linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles, was arrested early Sunday for failing to obey a police officer who ordered him to stop dancing on a street in South Beach, police said.
Police responding to a call in the 1400 block of Washington Avenue at 2:51 a.m. found Jones dancing with a female in front of the trendy Snatch Rock 'n' Roll Bar & Lounge, Miami Beach police spokesman Robert Hernandez said Monday.
Police said Jones was obstructing traffic in the northbound lanes, and officers ordered him to get off the street. He refused and was arrested at the scene.
Jones was taken to the station and was ''very apologetic,'' police said. The 28-year-old linebacker signed an affidavit with a promise to appear in court for arraignment.
According to the Philadelphia Eagles website, Jones ranked second among linebackers in the National Football League with 105 tackles in 2005. In June, he was named one of People Magazine's ``50 Hottest Bachelors.''

Well, Moe Williams of the Vikings was found guilty of disorderly conduct.

Then his agent says he is retiring from the NFL!!!

From KFFL
ESPNews reports free agent RB Moe Williams (Vikings) was found guilty of disorderly conduct on a charge stemming from a boat-party sex scandal.

Associated Press reports lawyer Joe Friedberg, who represented free agent RB Moe Williams (Vikings) during the boat-party sex scandal, said Williams has retired from the NFL.

and

http://www.startribune.com/510/story/380282.html
Interesting is this quote:

"Six jurors and an alternate are hearing the case, and Friedberg challenged the dismissal of a potential juror. Williams, who is black, shouldn't have to be tried by a "lily-white" jury, Friedberg said.

Tallen had rejected a black juror, saying he had bad vibes about the man and that he was "less than careful" in filling out the jury questionnaire"

The lawyer also adds "only an imbecile could lose this case."

This time it is Ricky Manning Jr. of the Bears.

http://www.dailynews.com/sports/ci_3743309

Former UCLA cornerback Ricky Manning Jr. was arrested early Sunday and charged with assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly knocking a man unconscious at a Westwood diner.
Manning, a three-year NFL veteran who Friday had signed a five-year, $21 million offer sheet with the Chicago Bears, walked in to Denny's Restaurant just after 3 a.m. with four or five friends and began to tease a man working on a laptop at a nearby table, according to Los Angeles Police Department Det. Robert Lewis.

The man asked a Denny's employee to intervene, then Manning punched the man in the face and others in the group began to kick and beat him, Lewis said. The group then fled as an employee phoned police.

Manning was pulled over several blocks away because the Range Rover he was driving fit the description of the car witnesses had given police. Manning was arrested after the victim, who had regained consciousness, identified him, Lewis said.

It is the second time Manning has been arrested after a fight in Westwood. In 2002, he was arrested and charged with assault after a fight outside Madison's.

*****************************************

I don't think the Panthers will match the Bear's offer sheet to this RFA.

The Tacoma News Tribune, reports there were some reports Monday evening, May 15, that Seattle Seahawks OT Wayne Hunter had been arrested. However, that may not be the case. A court clerk said Hunter had been cited but not arrested following a May 13 incident, but Hunter is indeed in trouble with the law again. Hunter is facing a May 24 arraignment in Renton on two charges: fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief. Hunter has a history of domestic violence (records show he has a Nov. 17 court date in Bellevue stemming from a 2003 charge), but this latest incident apparently involved a dispute with his brother.

Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Vincent "Sweet Pea'' Burns (the next idiot in this thread) is free on bond today after pleading not guilty to two charges stemming from an incident outside a Lexington, Ky., nightclub Friday.

Burns, 24, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and menacing at 2:30 a.m. According to the police report, he refused to leave the area outside the bar despite repeated requests after being "involved in disorders.''
A Lexington police officer added that, when he asked Burns to leave for the third time, Burns "pulled his shirt off and pulled his arm into a striking position toward me. I had identified myself as police and believed Burns had intent of causing physical injury to myself.''

The next volunteer idiot in this thread is Keith Traylor. While in Oklahoma the Dolphin DT was driving his Cadillac with a controlled substance aboard.

One of the charges is "with injuring a public building" along with the more traditional DUI.

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/foot ... hins-front

According to court documents, Traylor, 36, is charged with driving a 2003 black Cadillac SUV while under the influence of alcohol and posessing a bottle of Xanex, a controlled substance, without a prescription.

While jailed, Traylor, who is 6-foot-2, 350-pounds, tore a smoke detector off the wall. Damages were valued at over $50, making it a felony.

"The type of behavior that allegedly took place is disappointing, out of character for Keith and something that we don't condone as an organization," Dolphins coach Nick Saban said in a statement. "It is important that our players understand the responsibility they have in representing themselves, their families, their teammates, this organization and our fans in a first class way.

Driving without a license.

WR Ataveus Cash of the Redskinswas arrested Thursday night, May 18, for driving without a license, District of Columbia Police said. Cash was taken to a police station where he paid a fine and was released, police said.

Now why does he not have a license?

Good thing that A Green could settle his domestic abuse case and that it would not affect his playing status. We wouldn't want him classified as a non-packer person.
