Good article here from the Milwaukee paper about how well Favre is playing. I thought it was interesting that last year the Packers had the most dropped passes (43) of any team in the league, and this year they have the lowest drop rate of any team in the league. That is an amazing turnaround, and they've done it without any major changes in personnel. James Jones helps, because the guy's got hands made of Krazy Glue, but other than him, it's pretty much the same guys.

Some guys progress. GJ has improved(if thats possible). Ruvel Martin comes out of nowhere when you least expect it.

The O-line is solid.

Favre is playing off the charts.

It's a good pass attack.

If it wasn't for the stupid Patriots, Favre is your MVP of the league.

Why can't Favre be Co-MVP? McNair wasn't off the charts that year he shared the MVP with Manning.

Manning had 29 td passes that year. McNair had 24. Their numbers were a lot closer than Favre and Brady this year.

Favre could get to 5,000 passing yards though. I think that's the only way Favre gets co-mvp.

I think we have to take into account the fact that Brady and the Patriots were expected to be great. The Packers were expected to be improved...not arguably the second best team in the league.
