It will cost me approximately $400 to watch my favorite NFL team play 17 games at my home next season. Before last year, all you needed was a cable subscription and a TV guide. Now the TV networks have monetized sports viewing so much that most households will have to set a monetary budget to figure out which sports they can afford to watch!
I started to marshal all sports lovers together to make sports viewing affordable again. Do you want to pay to watch the Packers November 25th game at your home?

I used to think it was fun to watch people scalp tickets and find out for how much. They squeeze every cent they can. In everything. Less fun imho.

Yes! Join and tell all your friends who enjoy whatever sports they watch. We need numbers to fight back to the way it was before... I even made a special bumper sticker for packer fans.

I grew up with limited televised NFL football due to the old blackout rules. Had to watch weekly sports news reels to evaluate all the teams. However, when the AFL came along it showed a Game of the Week in every place in the country, ABC first, then NBC. I knew the AFL rosters and characteristics better than the NFL. AND none of it cost a red cent.

It helped my entire childhood and teens were in Wisconsin, but it has definitely been increasingly difficult to follow the sport

Now the networks are trying to monetize every sports event. We have to nip this in the bud or it will become a new normal. Do YOU want to pay $400 to watch all 16 Packer games every season? That's what this has come to and we both know that the fees will only go up. Pretty soon we will have to all go to sports bars every weekend to see games. What about basketball or baseball? Can we afford to watch all of those games? , join the fight. Tell your friends & family.

And if I wind up in a nursing home I will be stuck watching a curling exhibition.
