A 1 yard sack gets the same recognition as a 10 yard sack on 3rd down. I'd rather see sacks added up by yards lost and weighted by down so a sack on 3rd or 4th down is weighted more than one on first down. After all, sacks on 3rd and 4th down stop drives. No other position has the pseudo stats like pass rusher. Every other position has real stats to make solid evaluations. Pass rush stats are much too subjective.</p></blockquote><p></p>
